Bank Islam Visa MAIWP Debit Card-i is a collaboration between Bank Islam and Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (MAIWP).

Eligibility

Customers who have an Account with the Bank according to the minimum age below are eligible to apply for the Card:

• Aged 12 years and above with Savings Account;
• Aged 18 years and above with Current Account or transactional investment account.

The offer of the Bank Islam Visa MAIWP Debit Card-i product is ONLY SPECIFIC to:

• Full-time staff of MAIWP;
• MAIWP Asnaf participants under the ‘MONTHLY LIVING ALLOWANCE’ scheme (recipients of Baitulmal) only.

The offer of the Bank Islam Visa MAIWP Debit Card-i is not open to the public except for those categories. This includes customers who are newly applying to open an Islamic Bank account for new Baitulmal applications (which have not been approved by the Baitulmal) and also other Baitulmal schemes (other than the monthly ‘Living Allowance’ scheme), who are not allowed to use the Bank Islam Visa MAIWP Debit Card-i at this time (thus only the regular Debit Card-i is allowed).
