Credit Card-i Activation

INTERNET BANKING (https://www.bankislam.biz/)

Step 1: Log on to Bank Islam Internet Banking
Step 2: Go to Settings Menu
Step 3: Select Credit Card-i Maintenance
Step 4: Select Card Activation
Step 5: Select Credit Card-i Number
Step 6: Insert CVV code
Step 7: Click Activate
 

INTERACTIVE VOICE RESPONSE (IVR)

Step 1: Call 03-26 900 888
Step 2: Select language: Press 1 for B. Malaysia or Press 2 for English
Step 3: Key-in your 16-digit Bank Islam Credit Card-i number followed by hashtag (#)
Step 4: Key-in your CVV code followed by hashtag (#)
Step 5: Key-in your 6 digit OTP received followed by hashtag (#)
Step 6: Your Bank Islam Credit Card-i has been activated.

Debit Card-i

Card Not Present & Oversea Transaction Activation
  1. BIMB Mobile / BIMB Web; or

    Enable Card Not Present (Online purchase)

    • Login to BIMB Mobile.
    • Tap the Settings Symbol (⚙️)
    • Tap Accounts & Cards
    • Tap My Cards
    • Tap Debit Card
    • Enable the Allow Online Purchase option
    • Review the What is Overseas and Card Not Present (CNP) Transaction document, then Tap Continue to proceed
    • Select the date range for how long you want to activate the overseas transactions
    • Tap Confirm

    Enable Overseas Transaction & Withdrawal

    • Login to BIMB Mobile.
    • Tap the Settings Symbol (⚙️)
    • Tap Accounts & Cards
    • Tap My Cards
    • Tap Debit Card
    • Enable the Overseas transactions & Withdrawal option.
    • Tap Continue to proceed.
    • Note: For your safety, it is advised to turn off the overseas transactions feature once you return from overseas travel.
    • Select the date range for how long you want to activate the overseas transaction.
    • Select Country.
    • Tap Confirm.

  2. Bank Islam’s ATM; or
    Insert your Bank Islam Debit Card-i > Insert PIN number > Choose Bank Islam > Choose others > Choose Debit Card-i Maintenance > Choose update card-not-present / update overses transaction > Activate
