Introducing Bank Islam Agent Banking – a third party agent appointed by Bank Islam to conduct banking transactions on behalf of the Bank. Bank Islam specifically appointed structured and unstructured agents to provide financial services to the underserved population in remote locations nationwide.

What are the services offered by Agent Banking?

 

Services provided:

  1. Cash Deposit (for Saving Account and Current Account)
  2. Cash Withdrawal (for Saving Account, Current Account, Al-Awfar Account and iGain Account*); and
  3. Mobile Reload

*Note: for transaction purpose at self service terminal, Al-Awfar Account will appear as Saving Account and iGain Account will appear as Current Account.

Please take note that, the above transaction is only applicable to saving / current primary account.

Operating Hours:

The normal operating hours is from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm, 5 days a week. You also can check at website www.bankislam.com as the operating hours varies for each agent.

For agent branches that is affected under Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) effective from 9 November to 6 December 2020, the opening hours is from 9.00am to 3.00pm, 5 days a week until further notice.

Please make sure you go to our authorized Agent Banking only that holds:

  • Bank Islam official signage at premise
  • Agent banking logo
  • Agent Appointment Certificate
2 Please ensure the transaction is done inside the Agent ‘s premise only.
3 Please make sure cash deposit transaction and cash withdrawal transaction is performed by you.
4 Please make sure you bring enough cash / your Bank Islam Debit card to perform any Agent Banking transaction.

Please verify the transaction and amount before pressing on a green button on the Point-Of-Sale (P.O.S) terminal machine at agent’s premise.

**Transaction is done on real-time basis from Agent’s premise to Bank Islam Head Office**.

6 Please ask for customer’s copy receipt as a proof of the transaction conducted and check the accuracy of the information printed out on the receipt before leaving agent’s premise. Receipt will be printed out directly from Point-Of-Sale (P.O.S) terminal machine.
7 Keep your receipt for future reference even though the transaction appears to have failed before leaving the agent’s premise.
8 Please inform the Bank in the event of an agent’s misconduct, such as charging fee or claiming other payments, fraud and others

1 Perform any transactions at any unauthorized agents or premises.
2 Reveal your account balance to Agent / third party.

Pay any of charges impose by Agent Banking.

**If incurred charges, it will be displayed at agent premise and printed out on the receipt**.

4 Received manual receipt issued by agent.
5 Dealing with agent if the Point-Of-Sale (P.O.S) terminal is not at the exact place where it should be.
6 Reveal or share your ATM Card, ATM card PIN number or account balance with any third party including the agent itself.
7 Do not allow any third party to misuse your account for illegal transaction.
8 Don’t delay informing the Bank should there is any transactions disputes.

Eligibility & Requirements

How do I perform my transaction at Bank Islam Agent Banking?

  1. Walk in to any premise with Bank Islam Agent Banking logo displayed.
  2. Inform agent the type of services you wish to transact.
  3. Prepare sufficient amount of cash upon deposit transaction, standby your MyKad upon withdrawal transaction. Please remember your pin number for transaction.
  4. Once transaction is successful, agent will issue a copy of transaction receipt for customer keeping.
