Vendor Financing – Pengurusan Aset Air Berhad


Background

A strategic collaboration between Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad and Pengurusan Aset Air Berhad (PAAB) to support PAAB’s Vendor and Contractor growth. The collaboration offers structured financing facilities to PAAB’ Vendors and Contractors in order to suit the requirements in completion of contracts awarded by PAAB.

Eligibility

  • Local business entities
  • Profitable in 1 year out of the three (3) latest years
  • Main Contractor or Nominated Sub-Contractor.
  • At least three (3) years of performance track record in undertaking supply, business services, construction and other general services contracts.

Up to RM 10 million

Purpose of Financing

Business Cash Line-i

  • To finance general expenses, overheads, administrative, material, sub-contracts wages

Multi Trade Facilities

  • To facilitate purchase or sales of goods/services under the contract financed

Bank Guarantee-i

  • Tender Guarantee
  • Performance Guarantee
  • Advance Payment Guarantee
  • Other guarantee required as per contract requirement

Finance Lease-I

  • Capital Expenditure (specific to the contract financed by the Bank)

Financing Rate

Base Financing Rate / Cost of Funds + minimum 1.00% per annum

Type of contract

  • Construction / highways maintenance
  • Direct supply or trading;
  • Supply, installation and commissioning, testing, commissioning, training, etc.;
  • Business Services including provision of service and maintenance;
  • Any other contracts as approved by the Bank

Guarantee Provider

Syarikat Jaminan Pembiayaan Perniagaan (SJPP)
