GO SECURE (Previously Known as TRANSACTION SIGNING)


What is GO Secure?

GO Secure is a digital authentication method to approve transactions initiated at Internet Banking using secure verification. This feature shall replace the i-Access Code (iAC), wherever possible, and is available on GO by Bank Islam mobile application.


What is the difference between GO Secure and iAC?

GO Secure is a 6-digit authentication service that is performed on GO by Bank Islam using data or Wifi network while iAC code is a 6-digit authentication service performed using the SMS technology.


Do I need to register for GO Secure?

No. A user just need to download the GO by Bank Islam on their mobile and the GO Secure service will be available automatically when you complete your setup.


What type of transaction requires authentication through GO Secure?
  • Fund transfers above RM10,000 for DuitNow, 3rd Party Fund Transfer Within Bank Islam, IBG, Tabung Haji, SSPN-i,, Limit and Favorite maintenance via Internet Banking
  • All transactions performed via GO by Bank Islam
  • FPX transaction above RM200

How should I authorise transactions with GO Secure?

Perform the following steps:

Option 1: Upon receiving a push notification alert

  • Tap on the push notification to view your Secure Verification
  • Verify the transaction details and choose “Confirm”
  • Enter the six (6) digits displayed on your mobile device
  • Completed

Option 2: If you didn’t get the push notification, just launch GO by Bank Islam

  • Click the GO Secure icon at the bottom menu
  • Verify the transaction details and choose “Confirm”
  • Enter the six (6) digits displayed on your mobile device
  • Completed

Can I not use GO Secure and switch back to iAC?

Unfortunately, you can’t switch back to iAC
